   Hi
   I am installing oracle 10.2.0.1 RAC on linux 5. while installing i am getting the below error.
   error in invoking target 'client_sharedlib'.
   please help on this.

   Daniesh,

   At what step of installation you are getting this error?
   Did you run cluster verification utility before starting the installation, if yes, does the results "passed" for this utility?

   yes , I ran the cluster verify utility. everyhing is showing passed.
   when i try to install CRS. my setup get compete till 50%. while linking i am getting the following error.

   Daniesh,

   This could be due to incorrect environment setting like $LD_LIBRARY_PATH or $SHLIB_PATH.
   What is the version of CRS that you are installating and on which platform?
   upload the contents of installation log file.

   thanks for the reply.
   the cluster version is 10.2.0.1 32 bit.
   actually i am installing it on vmware.
   i am not able to copy it on windows.
   the LIB_PATH which i am using is export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$ORACLE_HOME/lib
   could you please tell me the corect path.
   I think the probem is with patch.

   paste the content of installation log file, it will help me to know what exactly is happening at your end.
